SEO ch 3 part 2

It took a while, but Gustav, the registration guy, showed me around the Adventurers' Guild. He showed me how to register my alias around the Adventurers' Guild by saying "input name Chris." Then showed me to the the bulletin boards, which surprised me as it seemed to be filled with rows of neatly arranged crystals. He explained the colors clear means it is an empty crystal, green is a gathering quest, red is a subjugation quest, blue is an item quest, white is a quest to find a missing person, if the crystal has a bronze lining it's from a certain faction or person which would be found on the quest details, silver lining it's a quest from the town's leader, and a gold lining is the kingdom's leader. There is a shine to each crystal, as long as it is shining that means that the quest hasn't reached the maximum number of participants. Also as participants start getting closer to fulfilling the maximum limit of a quest the crystal will start loosing its color. For example if a there is a quest for wolf pelts with the minimum number of 10 to complete it and the client only paid the guild for 100 then it will start of as a deep blue crystal, once around 50 or so pelts were turned in the crystal would turn an azure blue, and then a light blue at around 10 until the color was completely gone. He showed me that checking a quest's details was as simple as touching the crystal. To accept all I had to touch the crystal with my crystal ball. I can even share a quest with someone by touching my crystal ball with theirs while thinking of the quest I wanted to share. The quests were all given ranks by the guild, and thus each rank quests were put on different boards. The boards were clearly labeled with a number corresponding to the rank, and an adventurer couldn't take requests above their rank. They can take quests below their ranks, but it doesn't help increase their rank and it was at a reduced reward value (10% for each rank). To turn in a quest an adventurer just lined up in one of the lines and then hand the crystal ball to the guild representative and they'd take it from there. He also told me that the same lines were also for people putting in requests from the guild. He also said that although they got requests from the guild all the time that doesn't mean that they had all the possible quests in the area. He said if I had any questions about questing, the guild, or adventuring to just come find him. He then went back to his duties and I stood in front of the rank 1 bulletin board.
